Proof vs. Final Images

Proofs are images that have either not been edited or have only been slightly retouched. They are used to pick the best poses, expressions, or compositions from a set of images which will then go through the full editing process. Proof ImageImage before editing.

Proofs are uploaded at low resolution to save space and reduce upload time. This makes it easier for us to get images online quickly after a shoot, saves us hours of unnecessary editing time, and lets us spend more time fine tuning the best images. All of these factors come together to let us deliver images at lower cost without sacrificing quality. Final ImageImage after editing.

Final images are uploaded in full resolution after they have gone through a through editing session which addresses exposure, color correction, cropping, sharpening, noise reduction, and other imperfections. Final images are usually available for download or printing 1-2 business days after the order is submitted.
